The Backstory
At 43, Jaison owned a healthcare training company and had been single for 12 years.

Jaison had been working with a therapist who helped him come to a powerful realization:

“In the same way I invested in building my career skills to create a successful business, maybe I need to invest in my dating skills to create a successful relationship.”

While therapists can treat mental health conditions and trauma, they aren’t usually trained to help you develop dating skills or find love. As a result of his therapist’s suggestion, Jaison sought my help.

The Love Blocks
Jaison’s relationship readiness gaps included unclear compatibility expectations and severely limited time for romance.

“I tend to put time into the wrong people.”

The problem is rarely who you attract, it’s who you choose to entertain. And since Jaison's calendar was already maxed out before love entered the equation, he was only entertaining men who could fit into the margins of his life: the inconsistent ones, the unavailable ones, the opportunists. 

They weren’t compatible with his relationship goals but they were absolutely compatible with the amount of time he had available.

The Breakthrough
The point of compatibility is sustainability, and the first priority of anyone seeking love is to ensure you have the capacity to sustain the type of relationship you desire. Discussing compatibility is pointless if you don't have the skill capacity to handle a relationship with someone compatible. 

I helped Jaison address his capacity gaps in two ways. First, by recalibrating his expectations to reflect what sustainable partnership actually requires. Second, by restructuring his commitments so a healthy relationship could comfortably fit into his life.

The Bond
As a result of the work we did together, Jaison met Maurice, a hospital COO. The smitten couple got engaged, and in less than 2 years after working with me, Jaison married the man of his dreams on New Year’s Eve 2021!
